Rupert, the son of world-renowned artist Luther Milo, longs to create art of his own but is shackled by the need to care for his ailing father. Long-time friend and gallerist, Gab, suggests that the world has woken up to the fact it’s just two blobs on a canvas, and has simply become worthless. This prompts Rupert to consider all of his options – some less tasteful than others.

September 3rd, 1939. Britain and France declare war on Nazi Germany, only two days after the Wehrmacht invades Poland. This day, the sad date when the fate of the world changed forever, the Phoney War began: eight months of uncertainty, preparations, evacuations and skirmishes.

A $5,000 reward is put out for the capture of a notorious wolf. Two of the wanted posters are put on the trees where the Fox and the Crow live. When they see the posters, each thinks the other is the wanted one, and they try to capture each other for the reward money. After many attempts, they end up at a police station where their mistake is pointed out to them. They then punish themselves profusely for making the error. Re-released theatrically in 1956.

Many different birds and animals have long settled on the shores of Lake Chad. One day they decided to choose a king for themselves and chose Lion. They called him the bravest, the strongest, the wisest and the most beautiful. Then a son was born to the Lion and the Lioness - a little Lion Cub. When the Lion Cub could walk by himself, he met a hyena who told the Lion Cub that he was a Lion, which means he was the king of animals, which means he was the bravest, strongest, wisest, most beautiful.

A singer struggles to dance well in rehearsal with her band. A power outage leaves her alone in the studio, reviewing her life, when a mysterious woman appears through the mirror and gives her a pair of Red Shoes. The cursed shoes dance beautifully, but endlessly. The singer is drawn irresistibly into the fey world beyond the mirror, where she must redeem three magic symbols from the mysterious woman in order to obtain release from the cursed shoes.
